What a tremendous fall for the Huskers! The football team got invited to another bowl game, the volleyball team spent pretty much the entirety of the season at No. 1, and both the men’s and women’s basketball teams got off to terrific starts.

I posted a gallery of my best Husker shots from 2025 on KLIN 1400 AM, which you can see here. Almost all of these were shot with either a Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L II USM IS, EF 300mm f/2.8L IS, or 70-200 RF f2.8 on a Canon EOS R6.

And although I love being able to shoot at Memorial Stadium, the Devaney Center, or Pinnacle Bank Arena, it’s nice to be able to get into some new venues as well. The football team started off the season against Cincinnati in the Kansas City Classic, affording me the opportunity to shoot from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. That was pretty cool!

I hope to get to more baseball again in 2026, and maybe make a trip to Eugene for a football road game. Until then: Go Big Red!
