Spreading NCBVI’s Message

Spreading NCBVI’s Message

Being able to spread the word about all of the great resources existing to folks in our community is incredibly rewarding. And video is a great way to spread that word! I recently got the chance to work with the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, in conjunction with Broadcast House Media, on a series of commercials highlighting NCBVI’s services, which you can see below.

This was a total team effort. Our account manager at Broadcast House for NCBVI compiled all of the information and scripts for the commercials, and our production and promotions managers voiced the narration. Except for this commercial below, which required a little more help.

For the Spanish-language video, we reached out to our sister stations in Omaha, who have a Spanish-speaking DJ on staff. We were able to get Carlos’ lines displayed on screen for listeners who might have difficulty hearing or understanding English, along with narration explaining what is happening for blind or visually impaired viewers.
